Small Groups

One of the exciting facets of the ministry of the Watsontown Alliance Church is that of our “Small Groups”.  These groups are called by many different names in different places.  Sometimes they are named after the specific program or study that is used.  Sometimes their name reflects the philosophy that under lays the program.  Often a Church may select a name that is exclusive to their groups.  No matter what name you call them by, the “Small Group” ministry offers an important dynamic to the life of a Church.  Here are some of the benefits that a “Small Group” can provide:

  • An opportunity to build Community among believers

  • A place and a time for the encouragement of fellowship

  • A discipline for Christian growth through study

  •   An avenue for accountability

  • A pattern for a Christian lifestyle

  • A forum to ask questions

Please consider making a “Small Group” part of your development as a Christian believer.  Fred and Jane DeWire head up our “Small Group” Ministry.  They would be glad to talk with you about this multi-faceted ministry.
